We managed to find a solution for our laundry needs: Clearstain laundry service! They pick up the stuff from the apartment and deliver when it’s done, usually the next day or day after that. Price is a mere 10 INR per item, so expenses are no issue here. They are a bit tardy though: an agreed pick up or delivery at six might as well mean eight thirty or sometime the next morning, you never know.

One funny thing with the laundry here though: no-one wants to have anything to do with your dirty underwear, that stuff you need to take care of for yourself. So when necessary I wash the underthings by hand and put them out to dry on the balcony, no big deal.
