The apartment I’m staying at, together with Sajjad and Bhushan, is located at the Vasant Vihar Towers, in the Baner district of Pune. This flat, like most, is rented without furniture. How this differs from Finland is that this also means that there is no refrigerator, stove or oven.
But no worries, it’ll give us three fine bachelors all the more freedom to shape the apartment that we want.
The first thing you see as you enter the apartment is the spacious living room and master balcony. Yes, we have two.
Turning left, you have the kitchen alcove and short corridor to the living quarters and spa section.
With exception of the largeish bed Sidd was so nice to have delivered, my room is so far empty. The wide view from the windows is east, towards Pan Card Club Road. The windows can slide open, which invites a cooling breeze if needed.
This is the other half of the spa section, which consists of two bathrooms. This one is mine. The shower water is mostly coldish but can be made warmer at the expense of volume. So you get to choose between lots of cool water or a thinner stream of warm water.
This is the view from the master balcony, looking south. The other balcony, which can be accessed from Sajjad’s and Bhushan’s room, is a bit to the left, looking west.
